English: View of man sitting on Incan ruins in Peru. Photograph by Harry Ward Foote, who accompanied Hiram Bingham on his expedition to Machu Picchu in Peru in 1911. Harry Foote was a Yale Ph.B. (1895) and Ph.D. (1898), and a Yale College chemistry professor, who served as the expedition collector and naturalist on Bingham's expeditions to Peru. Hand-colored glass slide.
