File:Regular Participants 1994.svg

Summary

Description
English: Updated illustration of regular participants in the Eurovision Song Contest after 1994, originally derived from file:EurovisionParticipants1994.png. The addition of the Eastern Bloc countries, and the separate ex-Yugoslavian states, makes a stark change from the participation map of 1992.

Belgium, Denmark, Israel, Slovenia and Turkey are included because, although they did not participate in the 1994 Contest (having been relegated in 1993), they were regular participants nevertheless.

Italy has been removed as a regular participant, for although they participated again once in 1997, Italian television elected not to be a part of the Song Contest.

Differents from the original version include the addition of Switzerland, the removal of Luxembourg and Lithuania (Lithuania participated once in 1994 and then left the contest until returning in 1999, so was not a regular participant)
