Description
English: The plants are sundews ( Drosera anglica), insectivorous plants which use the sticky tentacles covering their leaves to attract, trap, and digest insect prey. These damselflies ( Enallagma cyathigerum) have been ensnared in this manner. Photo taken in Duck Lake, Oregon.
Français : Demoiselles ( Enallagma cyathigerum) piégées par les goutelettes gluantes présentes sur les feuilles d'un plant de Droséra. Les feuilles s'enroulent autour de leur proie pour ensuite la digérer.
