English: The damaged and immobile en:Japanese aircraft carrier Ryujo (centre) photographed from a USAAF B-17 bomber, during a high-level bombing attack in the en:battle of the Eastern Solomons on en:24 August en:1942. The destroyers Amatsukaze (centre left) and Tokitsukaze (faintly visible, centre right) had been removing her crew and are now underway. The fingerprints are in the original picture.
