Summary of the Flag

Español: Bandera de la República de Macedonia (1992-95)

Flag of Macedonia, 1992–1995. The flag used the Vergina Sun, which led to protests from neighboring Greece due to the symbol's origins. The Vergina sun was an ancient Greek symbol, adopted by Alexander the Great, when he started his war campaign and left Greece.
