Lunar Ferroan en:Anorthosite #60025 ( en:Plagioclase en:Feldspar). Collected by en:Apollo 16 from the Lunar Highlands near Descartes Crater. This sample is currently on display at the en:National Museum of Natural History in en:Washington, DC.

Plaque states:

At 4.5 billion years old, this anorthosite is approximately the same age as the Moon itself. Made mostly of plagioclase feldspar, it is thought to be a sample of the Moon's early feldspar crust.
