Neil Simon, właściwie Marvin Neil Simon (ur. 4 lipca 1927 na Bronksie, w Nowym Jorku) – amerykański, żydowskiego pochodzenia dramaturg i scenarzysta. Jest jednym z najbardziej pewnych twórców hitów w historii Broadwayu. Jest również jednym z najczęściej wystawianych dramaturgów w świecie.
Zaczynał od pisania wraz ze swym bratem Danny Simonem tekstów dla radia i telewizji. Napisał scenariusze do około 30 filmów, w tym m.in.: The Odd Couple, The Out-of-Towners, The Sunshine Boys, Murder by Death, The Cheap Detective, The Odd Couple II. W komediach według jego scenariuszy grali m.in.: Walter Matthau, Jack Lemmon, Peter Sellers, Peter Falk, George Burns i Woody Allen.

Był żonaty pięć razy: Joan Baim (1953-1973) - tancerka (zmarła), Marsha Mason (1973-1981) - aktorka, Diane Lander (1987-1988 i 1990-1998), Elaine Joyce (1999-obecnie) - aktorka.
