hi there... although, there are, afaik, no rules against that now, I don't really see the point of you voting on images on polish wikipedia, while not really being involved in it... i mean, you don't edit too much here, do you... no offense intended + regards, Blueshade 11:31, 14 lut 2006 (CET)
I am involved in the picture-candidates in the Wikimedia Commons, the English Wikipedia, the German Wikipedia, and (as far as they exist) also in the French Wikipedia. So I thought, why not beeing active in the Polish Wikipedia as well. I can't write in Polish and have to use English instead, but pictures are not a matter of language. It was certainly not my intention to offend anybody. In case I'm not welcome, I'll leave. Maybe we could vote about this question as well:

I, personally, am not sure this should be decided by voting :) ... if you can provide constructive opinion on images you vote on, there's a good chance nobody will oppose your participation in the voting process... I just wanted to hear your rationale... I'm not even sure I have anything significant against that... btw, just FYI, the nominations for the contest have to come from polish wikipedians, that's one of the reasons your picture didn't gather too many votes of support... - Blueshade 12:05, 14 lut 2006 (CET)

- hmm... I can only assume that that was just for the same reason - that it did not fulfill the basic requirement of being a picture created by a polish wikipedian... but that is against the custom not to archive the vote, so I'm fixing it right now... probably just an oversight, but you'd have to ask the person who removed the entry from the nomination page... - Blueshade 13:11, 14 lut 2006 (CET)
