Uważam, że temat dotyczący przestrzegania praw ... w Izraelu powinien znaleźć się na samym końcu. Najpierw omówmy system polityczny, parlament, prezydenta, rząd, partie polityczne i dopiero na końcu podsumujmy w jaki sposób ten system się sprawdza w praktyce. Co wy na to? Jaki jest powód umieszczenia w Zobacz też: "Teokracja". Rozumiem intencje - jednak analizując np. Okres Sędziów wydaje się, że tamten ustrój był jak najbardziej demokracją - i to pierwszą w historii ludzkości. A do tego z polecenia Boga. Proponuję usunąć link do "Teokracja". "Żydowska Rada Narodowa (...) proklamowała niepodległe Państwo Izrael ze stolicą w Jerozolimie. Arabowie nie mogli się z tym pogodzić i w wyniku pierwszej wojny arabsko-izraelskiej terytorium Izraela powiększyło sie do 21 tys. km²."

Arabowie nie mogli się pogodzić i z tego powodu terytorium Izraela się powiększyło?

próg wyborczy w wyborach do knessetu to 1,5%

• Jak się nie znasz, to nie pisz - obecnie w Izraelu 2% próg wyborczy - w czasie szesnastego Knessetu zwiększono próg do 2% - por. [1] Shalom 00:07, 11 cze 2006 (CEST)

Strona Knessetu stwierdza: "In the elections to the second and seventh Knessets the excess votes (the votes received by a list which passed the qualifying threshold, but are not sufficient for a whole seat) were distributed to those lists which had the largest number of excess votes (the Hare method). In the elections to the first Knesset, and since the elections to the eighth, the excess votes are distributed to the lists with the largest number of voters per seat - a method known in the world as Hagenbach-Bischoff (de-Hondt), and is known in Israel as the Bader-Ofer method - named after MKs Yohanan Bader (Gahal) and Avraham Ofer (Alignment) who proposed its adoption."

Hagenbach-Bischoff jest odmianą systemu d'Hondta. Na en Wiki stoi: "The system gives results identical to the d'Hondt method and it is often referred to as such in countries using the system e.g. Switzerland and Belgium."

Jednocześnie jednak możemy tam przeczytać, iż: "The D'Hondt method (equivalent to Jefferson's method) is a highest averages method for allocating seats in party-list proportional representation.
