Burning Spear, właściwie Winston Rodney (ur. 1 marca 1945 w Saint Ann's Bay, region Saint_Ann) - jamajski muzyk i piosenkarz roots reggae. Jego pseudonim (Płonąca Włócznia) został przejęty od Jomo Kenyatty - pierwszego prezydenta niepodległej Kenii. W swoich tekstach najczęściej odwołuje się do postaci Marcusa Garveya - wojownika o prawa czarnych w Ameryce, zwolennika powrotu Afroamerykanów do Afryki.
