Kariera Jeanette rozpoczęła się w 1999 roku, kiedy wygrała europejski konkurs muzyczny, w którym wzięło udział prawie 280 000 uczestników. Wtedy też otrzymała rolę w najchętniej oglądanej niemieckiej operze mydlanej Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten i od ponad roku jest jedną z najpopularniejszych aktorek telewizyjnych u naszych zachodnich sąsiadów. Również wtedy rozpoczęła pracę nad swoim pierwszym albumem. Debiutancki krążek Jeanette Enjoy ukazał się pod koniec 2000 roku. Zawierał on przebój - Go Back. Kolejny album zatytuowany Delicious piosenkarka nagrała rok później. Krążek cieszył się dużym powodzeniem. W listopadzie 2002 na rynku pojawił się kolejna płyta Jeanette Rock My Life. Na albumie znalazło się 15 piosenek. W listopadzie 2003 ukazała się kolejna płyta wokalistki, zatytułowana Break On Through. Na pierwszym singlu promującym album znalazła się piosenka Rockin' On Heaven's Floor. W kwietniu 2006 roku Jeanette wydała kolejną płytę zatytułowaną Naked Truth. Płyta niczym nie odbiega od standardów jakie nam zaproponowała Jeanette, aczkolwiek fascynujący stał się nowy wizerunek Jeanette, dziwny, nieokreślony a zarazem dziki i tajemniczy. 'Naked Truth' doczekała się realizacji 3 singli z płyty - Bad Girls Club (utwór ten zapowiadał jak i promował całe wydawnictwo), "Endless Love" i wydany w wakacje 2006 roku "Heat Of The Summer".
