Blue Screen of Death ou BSOD é um ecrã apresentado nos sistemas operativos Windows em caso de erro grave de sistema, este ecrã tornou-se muito famoso, pelas suas regulares aparições, a mais famosa foi a da apresentação do Windows 98 pelo próprio Bill Gates durante o lançamento que exibiu a tela ao público durante demonstração.
No Windows Vista foi tambem implementado um Red Screen of Death, para erros mais graves, mas o famoso ecrã azul continuará a existir no novo sistema operativo.
