"Map of the Problematique" jest czwartą piosenką na albumie Black Holes and Revelations angielskiego zespołu rockowego Muse. Piosenka została wydana jako piąty singel z tego albumu w UK 18 czerwca 2007 roku jedynie jako wydanie cyfrowe. [1] Data wydania była poprzedzona dwoma koncertami, które Muse zagrali 16 i 17 czerwca na Wembley Stadium.[2] Do singla nie ma teledysku promującego.
Piosenka zajęła 18 miejsce na UK singles chart w pierwszym tygodniu po wydaniu. Była bardziej sukcesywna niż poprzedni singel, Invincible.
- Piosenka była wykorzystywana w wielu reklamach telewizyjnych przez rok 2006 i 2007, m.in w reklamie brytyjskiego serialu science fiction Primeval, oraz w spotach telewizyjnych do filmu Ludzkie dzieci.
- Zajęła miejsce #82 in w liście Q Magazine 100 lost tracks of 2006 list.
