Earth, Wind and Fire - amerykańska grupa soulowa powstała w 1969. Pierwsze płyty zawierały długie, majestatyczne utwory które można określić mianem "czarny rock progresywny". Później zaczęła wykonywać zarówno subtelne ballady jak i szybkie taneczne utwory w których umiejętnie łączyła takie style jak rhythm and blues, soul, jazz rock, funky, disco. Grupa wypracowała bardzo bogate brzmienie oparte na instrumentach dętych i dynamicznie grającej sekcji rytmicznej. W tekstach często pojawiały się treści społeczne, także podkreślające dumę z bycia afro-amerykaninem. Do największych przebojów grupy należą Boogie Wonderland, Serpentine Fire, Getaway, Shining Star, Let's Groove i wiele innych.
W 2000 grupa Earth, Wind and Fire została wprowadzona do Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
