I've been looking forward to your message from Poland. Mr. Berasategui is "an ideal tennis writer for me" of all over the world. I'd love to contact him as soon as possible. --Tnsv 8 lip 2005 08:31 (CEST)
Hi! I forwarded your message to Wikipedysta:Berasategui - I'm sure he'll contact you. Greetings, Selena talk 8 lip 2005 08:41 (CEST)

[edytuj] With my Ideal Tennis Writer

Hello. In fact, I also added articles about another Japanese female players, French Open mixed winner Rika Hiraki and good doubles player Nana Miyagi. About Seles - at the moment this stub looks like translation of first verse from english version. In short future I'll try to make full article of her. Berasategui 21:02, 17 lip 2005 (CEST)

Thank you for your effort. I have to write Sawamatsu, Hiraki and Miyagi too. "You're my ideal as a tennis writer." I'm right! --Tnsv 23:56, 17 lip 2005 (CEST)

Thank you for correction in year of birth of Matsuoka! I added him and also Asagoe, in short time I hope to finish articles about Novotna and Rosset. Greetings Berasategui 14:03, 2 wrz 2005 (CEST)

Marc Rosset! The Gold Medalist of Barcelona Olympic Games, I remember. But I can't take time to start his Japanese Version yet. He waited for Federer to surpass him as a Swiss player, perhaps. --Tnsv 14:13, 2 wrz 2005 (CEST)

You know, some players are in fact so great, that it is difficult to write about them quickly, so I need sometimes many time... (special Navratilova, for me the greatest). I added few words about Connors, also Ashe, McEnroe and Borg - all articles from last hours, but still is much work to do. I hope that those Japanese players from past - Shimizu and Sato - will have articles in english version, so will be chance to do it also here. By the way - have you heard about Jadwiga Jędrzejowska? She was Wimbledon finalist in 1937, still best result for tennis in Poland. So far no article about her in plwiki, but will be shortly, I hope. Greetings, Berasategui 20:50, 9 wrz 2005 (CEST)

I found Mr. SPK in your discussion page. I'll chase his contributions -- I added Richard D. Sears of English and German Versions. In fact, I have no knowledge of Wojciech Fibak! Historical players in different countries are very hard to research, especially when English references don't exist. --Tnsv 22:01, 9 wrz 2005 (CEST)

Hello. I'll try to write articles about those players in short time. In Polish it will be Natasza Zwieriewa, of course with redirect from english version (could be also Natalia Zwieriewa, I think). BTW, last time I also added another Japanese players - Akiko Morigami and her olympic team-mate Saori Obata, and few more articles, include retirements Els Callens and Silvia Farina, doubles players Libor Pimek, Leander Paes (in short future will be also Bhupathi), Daniel Nestor and Mark Knowles. Greetings, Berasategui 14:46, 28 paź 2005 (CEST)

Thanks again! I'll add Akiko Morigami, too. --Tnsv 14:48, 28 paź 2005 (CEST)

Congratulations to your first tennis-year on Wikipedia! Thank you for very interesting link, I found even picture of Kumagae in Chapter XVII. I'm afraid in 1921 polish tennis was in poor condition, only third year of independence after long time. In short time I'll try to write all your propositions. By the way, is in Japanese Wikipedia article about my "patron" - Alberto Berasategui? Do you remember him? Greetings, Berasategui 15:09, 4 lis 2005 (CET)

Of course! He's a Spanish player, runner-up of French Open 1994, lost Sergi Bruguera. In fact, I haven't written his Japanese Version yet. I noticed that your name derives from him (long time ago). --Tnsv 15:45, 4 lis 2005 (CET)

[edytuj] Tennis Discussion 2006

Thanks for your great work! Last month I took some tennis-break (almost like profi tennis world), but it's time to back to work. I will try to add all those articles as shortly as possible (propably Medvedev as Andriej Miedwiediew). Thanks also for interesting statistics. All the best in New Year Berasategui 13:37, 3 sty 2006 (CET)

Australian Open takes place in January; That makes us busier than usual. Now, I'm planning Althea Gibson. --Tnsv 14:03, 3 sty 2006 (CET)

In Poland many good comments about Hingis comeback, but propably more about her singles performance then mixed doubles. (I added Bhupathi at last shortly after Australian). About Federer - sometimes you can find also in Poland comments, that people are little tired with his great play, and propably want some new champ. We have also celebrate good result for doubles team Fyrstenberg/Matkowski (first semifinal since early 80., I think) and juniors doubles win (Koniusz/Panfil). Berasategui 13:11, 31 sty 2006 (CET)

A little tired?? No, I don't think so! Rather, I didn't want Lleyton Hewitt to stay in No.1 position because his manner on court is quite terrible. Federer has much better effect to other players. At the ceremony, he cried again, but this time "tears of relief". His champion speech interrupted -- Usually, he can speak normally even with tearful eyes, but he couldn't in front of Rod Laver. I'll keep on cheering Federer, although people around me speak only on Hingis and Sharapova. (It's true!) --Tnsv 14:26, 31 sty 2006 (CET)
Finally, Roger Federer decided to visit Japan this October at "Japan Open Tennis". My frustration will be over then. My memory of Wimbledon 2001: At the Opening Match of Pete Sampras vs. Francisco Clavet of Spain, his future opponents were announced, "4th round, No. 15 seed Roger Federer, ... Quarterfinals, ..." I instantly thought, "The 4th round with Federer will be the end of Sampras!". And the day, July 2nd in 2001, I expected "Today will be the day". Most people were surprised at Sampras' loss, but I was right. Since then, Federer has been a special guy for me. --Tnsv 10:52, 1 lut 2006 (CET)
It is really interesting story. I also admire Federer's play quite few years, I think since Basel final of 2000 (but I was among those surprised with Sampras lost in Wimbledon). In Poland we have rather no chance to see Federer, with only one ATP tournament in Sopot (in calendar end of July, when most of best players are in America). About my old articles - you right, many of those are quite short (f.e. Gustavo Kuerten needs I think new redaction), but still so many great players without articles... Greetings, Berasategui 11:54, 1 lut 2006 (CET)
Basel final of 2000? I've watched him one month earlier than you, Sydney Olympic Games!! At the Men's Singles Semifinals: Yevgeny Kafelnikov vs. Arnaud Di Pasquale, and Tommy Haas vs. Federer. At the Bronze Medal Match, Federer lost Arnaud Di Pasquale. <Martina Hingis quit the Olympic Games for odd reasons that time.> I saw Men's Semifinalists, and found "a Swiss man" there. Basel Final -- Now I researched, Federer lost Thomas Enqvist 2-6, 6-4, 6-7, 6-1, 1-6 then. --Tnsv 12:45, 1 lut 2006 (CET)

So, I added Jadwiga Jędrzejowska. The work of Mrs. Rapsodin is quite impressiv, sadly I don't speak Swedish. In polish literature about Jędrzejowska is strongly mentioned, that she was often tennis-partner of king Gustav V of Sweden. Talking about age, I'll turn 30 this year. Greetings Berasategui 11:43, 16 lut 2006 (CET)

All right! I'll report her about your work. "Turn 30 this year" -- so many contemporaries, like Lindsay Davenport, Jennifer Capriati, Gustavo Kuerten, Carlos Moya, Mark Philippoussis and so forth! Yesterday, I wrote Paola Suarez, one of them (born in 1976).--Tnsv 13:17, 16 lut 2006 (CET)
I have to call "Mr." Rapsodin. He's a 58-year-old microbiologist by profession. Not a noble lady, but a great professor! --Tnsv 11:55, 18 lut 2006 (CET)

Hello. Thank you for information about new author. I noted AnneMary first time few days ago, after her article Sarah Pitkowski was "nominated" for deletion. I think Pitkowski, as main tour tournament winner and member of French Fed Cup team, shouldn't be deleted, so I made some corrections (it looks now as article will stay). After your message I wrote few words to our new author, I also recomended you as right person to talk about tennis. BTW, today interesting final in Dubai: Federer-Nadal. Federer plays good tennis this week (but I saw also his not great performance against Arabian opponent in second round). Greetings. Berasategui 16:34, 4 mar 2006 (CET)

Thank you. A notable player shouldn't be deleted, except for copyright violations. In Japanese WP, quite a few "Deletion-Lovers" exist. They only add "Speedy Deletion" / "Regular Deletion" templates, without growing articles themselves. We'd love to collaborate each other. --Tnsv 22:43, 4 mar 2006 (CET) -- Ah, Nadal won the Dubai final 2-6, 6-4, 6-4. --Tnsv 04:13, 5 mar 2006 (CET)

[edytuj] Historical Players

Hello. I decided to write at last articles about some tennis legends, so after Budge, Perry and Emerson will be Rosewall, Hoad, Althea Gibson, Billie Jean King (longer version) and few others. I will remember also about Mikael Pernfors and both Maleeva sisters. I hope to have complete International Hall of Fame this year. I'm really impressed with your work in polish sport categories! About AnneMary - I personally recomended you as right person to nice tennis talks. Her article about Henin-Hardenne is in fact detaled, special about tournaments matches, but in this form was awarded with title of "futured article". Greetings, I wish good fun with Stan Smith article! Berasategui 22:23, 14 mar 2006 (CET)

I wrote Ken Rosewall in March 1st, Lew Hoad two days after. Mikael Pernfors was much more interesting than I expected, the 4th round of Australian Open 1990. Billie Jean King may be the most difficult subject for me. --Tnsv 22:51, 14 mar 2006 (CET)

Nice to see you with special polish letters! Talking about tennis and death, I was impressed with story about Wimbledon triumphs record of Billie Jean King. In long career she collected 19 titles and shared the title "most Wimbledon wins" with another American, doubles specialist Elizabeth Ryan for long time, losing few finals in doubles and mixed doubles. In 1979 Ryan (87) died at heart attack, few hours after watching Wimbledon final Navratilova-Evert; exactly next day Billie Jean won her 20th title at Wimbledon (doubles with Navratilova). Bad news - on tennisfame.com site is no longer available great database with all Grand Slam finals. Greetings, Berasategui 15:07, 23 mar 2006 (CET)

Billie Jean King is the most difficult subject to me, because she established WTA Tour -- Social aspects are so complicated. That's why I'm still hesitating to start her. Yours are "untouchable" for me!! Did you notice my renewed userpage? I introduced Japanese famous manga, Aim for the Ace! (English name) written in 1970's by Sumika Yamamoto. Japanese tennis fans increased since then, through this manga and Wimbledon Women's Doubles victory by Kazuko Sawamatsu and Ann Kiyomura in 1975. However, after Date's retirement, our enthusiasm faded immediately. Polish tennis fans can get substantial information, through your Wikipedia articles! --Tnsv 15:44, 23 mar 2006 (CET)

Hello. Last days I made some "tennis Dutch week" and added few new articles (Stove, Timmer, Bouman, Nijssen, Bollegraf, Davids, Schultz-McCarthy, Koevermans, Haarhuis, Eltingh...). Famous play Netherlands-Spain in 1993 is one of my first memories from Daviscup and long time I was supporter of Haarhuis. I made also full version of Wojciech Fibak. I hope to find some picture of Fibak. Here you can see his visit to my amatour club in Olsztyn few years ago www.republika.pl/skanda/open02.html. I added at last Japanese legend Jiro Sato - I found in discussion of Mr. Rapsodin problems with Wimbledon semifinal opponent of Sato in 1932. In polish book Opowieści tenisowe z myszką (can be translate Old tennis stories) by Kordian Tarasiewicz I read, that Vines beat Crawford in semifinal that year, so Sato must loose to Austin (so he took revange year later). Cochet in Wimbledon 1932 lost in first round and won consolation tournament All England Plate. Greetings. Berasategui 17:29, 9 kwi 2006 (CEST)

Message from you, Mr. Berasategui? I introduced your work to my Dutch talk page, too! Mr. FvS specializes in sports overall. I "ordered" him to research French Open 1994!! Tom Okker's external links are quite useful. About Fibak, did you notice my voice "Expansion!"? It's the longest sportspeople article of Polish WP, I guess. -- BTW, today I checked Kategoria:Golfiści. Phil Mickelson won the Golf Majors two consecutive events! I'll try his recent / complete records by using comment-out function. Nobody without you, can write sports overall in Polish WP?? --Tnsv 05:01, 10 kwi 2006 (CEST)
Congratulations to 200.000 article in Japanese Wikipedia! Polish version reach it with rapidly growing geographical articles-stubs about all cities and districts firstly France, then Italy, and then Poland. Thank you for nice introducion on Dutch Wikipedia. In fact, 1992 Fed Cup was the best for Poland (you can see all stats [1]) and Nowak lost to Steffi Graf 0:6, 0:6. Good result Polish team reach also year earlier, beating strong France (Nowak won against Tauziat), but then lost to Indonesia. Since 1995 Poland lost position in World Group, and last year was relegated also from group 1 (so now eaqual with Davis Cup team). In fact, best Grand Slam result of Katarzyna Nowak is 3rd round French Open 1995, when she lost to Kimiko Date! She reach WTA position 46 or 48 that year (in French Open 1995 last male entrance in Grand Slam tournament for Poland - Wojciech Kowalski lost 1st round to Guy Forget).

As you propably saw, not only Okker is tennis player in International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. You can find also more interesting players, for Poland special is Daniel Prenn, who was born in Wilno and was close to be member of Polish Davis Cup team.

As I said long time ago, golf is not popular sport in Poland, I'm afraid. News about golf results are even hard to find in polish portals. We have many good sport writers, special in cycling, Formula 1, ice skating, rallye championships, chess, ski jumping, also soccer... but golf not. Maybe when I will be more advance with tennis writing (still many Hall of Famers waiting!), I can try. In fact, I never watched big tournaments personally, I watched only by few ITF (or satellite) tournaments. Pozdrawiam Berasategui 10:12, 10 kwi 2006 (CEST)

What a great coincidence again! French Open 1995, another golden moment for us, Kimiko Date advanced semifinal as "the first Japanese woman". Actually, she won Nowak at the 3rd round. [2] We're struggling with geographical articles too, how we call Polish cities in Japanese. Golf courses are very difficult to build in Poland, perhaps? Mr. Taw sometimes visits Japanese WP. He writes nice Edit Summaries here. ::)) T --Tnsv 13:00, 10 kwi 2006 (CEST)

Welcome under your new name! Thank you for Japanese version of Fibak - I added few Japanese players (Kijimuta sisters and Saeki), thanks for interwiki. Place of birth of both Kijimuta sisters you added correctly (propably articles about prefectures will be under Prefektura Kanagawa as is on article Japonia, but so far it is red link - in future no problem with redirect Kanagawa->Prefektura Kanagawa). I added also Yahiya Doumbia, quite unique player, twice tournament winner after qualifications. In short plans still few Japanese players (Endo, Yoshida and Junko Sawamatsu). I bought Tennis Encyclopedia by Bud Collins - I read there, that Junko was Australian quarterfinalist in 1970 (singles) and Wimbledon doubles quarterfinalist (1970, with sister Kazuko). I saw also your note in AnneMary discussion - in fact my "wikibreak" was just Easterntime (I need 6 hours train trip to my family). I'm still entusiasthic about tennis-articles (in fact, I feel sometimes tired with another Wikipedia activities, special administrators discussions, but not with writing articles). Greetings Berasategui 10:41, 20 kwi 2006 (CEST) PS. Some time ago my collegues from PL-Wikipedia asked me for change of login, too - they find "Berasategui" to complicated:) - but I refused.

How much you've cared about me for nine months! I noticed your sad records. (1) I wish I could read old / ancient tennis books more freely. Like a dream for me!! Recently, I wrote Johan Kriek as my 189th tennis players' article. (WP Projects: No.2, German: 493 / No.3, Polish: 448 // No.4, French / No.5, Swedish // No.6, Japanese: 225 / No.7, Dutch: 216) When I reach 200, I'll try to introduce a Japanese song "Sugarcane Field", originated from Battle of Okinawa. --Hhst 14:41, 20 kwi 2006 (CEST) -- I imagined, Arthur Winston's death moved your heart so deeply. Contrary to Poland, we Japanese WP have "Discussion-maniacs", rarely creating articles themselves. A "festival" of failed admin candidate ended two days ago (Final voting results: 42-17). I don't like such atmosphere in my homeland. --Hhst 15:14, 20 kwi 2006 (CEST)
I ordered Bud Collins' "Total Tennis: The Ultimate Tennis Encyclopedia" (hardcover, 2003/7, Sport Media Pub.) --Hhst 00:54, 21 kwi 2006 (CEST)
Have a nice lecture! I think this is new version of former Bud Collins' Tennis encyclopedia (my edition is from 1997). About Arthur Winston - I believe such person should have entry in Wikipedia, very unique devote to his job (he is also interesting becouse of longevity - I wrote few articles in pl-Wiki about longevity-record holders in this category). Today I added Wightman Cup records of Phyllis King - I think only centenarian Wimbledon champion. Greetings Berasategui 10:50, 21 kwi 2006 (CEST)
Nice lecture? Far from it! My writing skill is much inferior to yours, and my "readers" are Japanese people, quite unstable -- Do they recognize my work, first of all?? Much worse, a nasty "deletion lover" is with us, saying "Google hits only 1 Wiki = Not encyclopedical" (nieencyklop.) !! --Hhst 11:56, 21 kwi 2006 (CEST)

Thank you for new informations about Kumagae (and of course thanks to Mr. Rapsodin). I added also in article his positions in top 10 US-rankings. I think also about articles for those Japanese players - Takeichi Harada (world nr 7 1926) and Jiro Yamagishi (world nr 8 1938), both with good results in Davis Cup (special Harada), but have very little informations. Another candidats - olympic medalist Seiichiro Kashio and Wimbledon doubles finalist Ryosuke Nunoi. I saw Japan team doing very well in Fed Cup against Switzerland (many Asian teams in World Group II). Greetings, Berasategui 18:14, 22 kwi 2006 (CEST) -- Correction, Ryosuke Nunoi. Added underline --Hhst 05:13, 23 kwi 2006 (CEST)

Thanks for you, too. Very few information left here -- Seiichiro Kashio, I don't know how to research his biography!! (Frustrated) Takeichi Harada was a great profile too. In Italian WP, somebody remembered his name (before my listing of several players). About Fed Cup, Switzerland team members are "weaker" -- without Schnyder, neither Hingis (She gave it up after 1999). BTW, how often do you practice in your amateur tennis club in Olsztyn, especially after you got an administrator of Polish WP?? --Hhst 21:26, 22 kwi 2006 (CEST)
We're looking forward to watching a new star, Ayumi Morita (born in March 11 1990, Gunma Pref.). She became the youngest professional tennis player in Japanese history (15 years of age) in April 2005, and advanced Grand Slam Girls' Singles semifinals twice, French Open 2005 and Australian Open 2006 (4th seed). We don't want to give her unreasonable pressure, but she is our only one "hope". --Hhst 21:38, 22 kwi 2006 (CEST)
Thank you for correction of Nunoi (I used version from Daviscup site). I decided to add first of all Japanese candidats doubles winners of US Championships 1955 Kosei Kamo and Atsushi Miyagi. Quite interesting story about that win you can find here. In fact, I'm playing now not to often, but not only becouse of Wikipedia - I moved from Olsztyn to another city (Koszalin) almost two years ago (that makes 6 hours train trip). Fed Cup: even with weaker Suiss team - good job! Berasategui 17:14, 23 kwi 2006 (CEST)

Japanese tennis in 1950's?? I haven't planned yet! In fact, I'm still struggling, Seiichiro Kashio's lifetime. His birthdate can be found in DavisCup site, but his death -- no resources in our books and Google!! I added one more external link in Ichiya Kumagae, how he felt after the silver medals (English translation, from Tsukuba University). --Hhst 20:20, 23 kwi 2006 (CEST)

I ordered JTA (Japan Tennis Association) official book "Tennis Players' Guide". Mr. Rapsodin gave more surprise, sv:Takeichi Harada started! I talked about Jiro Sato with a Swedish former sysop too. SV I wrote Atsushi Miyagi and Kosei Kamo, thanks to your information. --Hhst 00:25, 27 kwi 2006 (CEST)

Thank you for new article! I'm surprised, but it looks that correct year was 1912! I used 1911 after polish Sport Encyclopedia and few other books, but in her memories (I'm now reading and using in few articles) Jędrzejowska clearly wrote 1912. (User Jadwiga wanted quick contact via Internet messenger Gadu-Gadu or GG). Berasategui 10:57, 28 kwi 2006 (CEST) PS. Have you some informations about Ryuki Miki, Wimbledon mixed doubles winner 1934? On daviscup site I found only Tatsuyoshi Miki. PS 2. I cut off link to Olsztyn tennis club page, becouse of anti-spam information. --Added deletion line --Hhst 12:20, 28 kwi 2006 (CEST)

His name was Tatsuyoshi Miki. His lifetime was [February 11, 1904 - January 9, 1966]. His Grand Slam singles results: French Open, 1930/1932/1933: Best records, 3rd round // Wimbledon, 1929-1934: Best records, 3rd round // US Championships, 1927 only once, 1st round loss. At Wimbledon 1934 with Dorothy Round, Miki had to overcome Jiro's suicide, three months before. JTA Official Tennis Players' Guide will help us, both you and me. (GG, Mr. Wiktoryn comes so often?) --Hhst 12:20, 28 kwi 2006 (CEST)

Thank you again for interesting informations about Sato and Miki. Can you find in your new book such statistics about both Takeichi Harada and Jiro Yamagishi? It could be good base for articles. (I'm just back from polish Wikipedia meeting). Berasategui 17:00, 2 maj 2006 (CEST) -- Correction, Jiro Yamagishi. Added underline --Hhst 08:06, 6 maja 2006 (CEST)

Sure! I can prepare their articles, almost simultaneously. Sachiko Kamo, Kosei's older sister, was the first Japanese woman to attend Grand Slam Ladies' Singles in 1940's. (Were you in Wikimedia Polska?) --Hhst 19:14, 2 maj 2006 (CEST) -- Are you in the Ship Coffeebreak picture? I noticed Earl Woods too. --Hhst 08:06, 6 maja 2006 (CEST)
No, no. I missed ship becouse of another long trip by train (Koszalin->Wrocław, 7 hours). I don't like to be on photos, you can find me on this picture (almost back, in black-and-white shirt). (or maybe better picture of me, almost center, from August 2005 meeting). Berasategui 20:43, 6 maja 2006 (CEST) -- Cut off link from Commons, Polish WP meeting 2005 --Hhst 16:57, 1 cze 2006 (CEST)
Shy person! I prepared a subpage, Wikipedysta:Hhst/Japanese Tennis History Database. We'll share information here, not only new, but also further records. However, I'll write here after my Japanese versions!! (I'll do the same thing in English and Swedish WPs.) --Hhst 01:05, 7 maja 2006 (CEST)

Hello. Thank you for your very interesting tennis Wikipedia statistics! In fact, this year we have very late French Open, start will be 29th of May. I'm now working on different players - in short future will be Woodforde and Jensen brothers, but also historical players like Crawford, Ellsworth or Marble. Maybe also few polish players. Greetings Berasategui 10:04, 16 maja 2006 (CEST)

Oh no, did I forget tennis calendar?? I wrote first Wimbledon champions, Spencer Gore and Maud Watson / German legends, Cilly Aussem and Hilde Krahwinkel Sperling. In fact, Gottfried von Cramm and Henner Henkel came to Japan in 1937, and Jiro Yamagishi was completely beaten in Japanese domestic tournament (All Japan Tennis Championships). I haven't written G. von Cramm and Henkel yet, but I'm planning their articles too. (What about some modern guys, Jarkko Nieminen, Karol Kučera and so forth?) Best regards --Hhst 10:49, 16 maja 2006 (CEST)

[edytuj] Progress Toward WP No.2 vs 5

Hello. In fact in my opinion, end of May, then June and start od July are most interesting time for tennis fans, with two great traditions tournaments. Talking about potential players, I think, this year Robredo has good chances to strong progress at Roland Garros. But of course we can have another repeat of last year semifinal Federer-Nadal. About Watson sisters - in Bud Collins Encyclopedia is short note about Maud (death 6th June) and also birth and deaths dates for her sister. The same book has also date of death for Henkel 3rd December, but in fact '1944, what is no correct. In article in polish monthly magazine "Tenis" Henkel's death is mentioned as 3rd December 1942. In my short plans are still some polish players, special Ignacy Tłoczyński (5 times champion of Poland, Daviscup hero just before II WW, 1939 QF of Roland Garros in singles and SF in doubles, only polish Grand Slam singles QF with Jędrzejowska and Fibak). Maybe also some swedish players - still no Bergelin, Davidson, Schmidt, Jarryd, Gustafsson, Larsson or Torsten Johansson. Greetings Berasategui 10:47, 28 maja 2006 (CEST)

Thank you for a long message! I received a mail from Amazon.com, saying "We haven't gained your book yet, maybe more 4~6 weeks -- Sorry!" That's why I can't read Bud Collins' Encyclopedia myself. Swedish players -- Mr. Rapsodin will leap for joy! I have to plan Anders Jarryd, Sven Davidson too. Today, I found new articles in Indonesian WP. // One of my favorite classical music is, "Wanderer Fantasy" by Franz Schubert for solo piano. I've been a "wanderer of tennis" for 17 months (since December 2004) -- I found your greatness through wandering journey. Best regards from now on. ...--Hhst 12:05, 28 maja 2006 (CEST)

Thank you for nice words and interesting facts about Tony Wilding. I hope AnneMary will be much better portal manager than me (I tried some time ago, as sport-writer, to work in football portal, but quickly resign). I think my best part in new portal could be writing new tennis articles (and work with old articles to reach the same standard). In my short planes - three monumental ladies players, Wightman, Douglass Chambers and Mallory, but firstly few players from Sweden. Maybe also strong "Morocco team". Greetings Berasategui 15:39, 3 cze 2006 (CEST). I hope, you'll get Collins' Encyclopedia shortly, it is really good book!

I'm planning Molla Mallory too. Today, I started Helen Jacobs -- Japanese WP reached "260". Now I have to prepare so many doubles players, like Lisa Raymond, Samantha Stosur and so forth, along with International Tennis Hall of Fame Enshrinees. --Hhst 16:20, 3 cze 2006 (CEST)

Thank you for corrections in portal. Yes, tomorrow we have chance to non-calendar Grand Slam, and then possibly also classical Grand Slam! I found your Daniel Nestor article and that was good time to add actual statistics. In my plans now Margaret Osborne duPont, one of great players (37 GS titles without playing in Australia!) Greetings Berasategui 15:14, 10 cze 2006 (CEST)

You added interwiki in Swedish Version of Osborne duPont -- I'm still thinking, move / change her name in my Swedish account. Rafael Nadal broke the record of Guillermo Vilas, but I'd like Federer to stop it! (AnneMary started watching Justine since J&S Cup final with Kuzniecowa: She's involved in today's Women's Singles.) --Hhst 15:26, 10 cze 2006 (CEST)

Hello. Thank you again for very important correction!! In fact, I didn't correct version from ATP site (I'll correct in just moment)! All my materials, including Collins Encyclopedia and polish Who's who (where is date in theory directly from Fibak), using 30th August. Greetings Berasategui 22:32, 15 cze 2006 (CEST) About Holek - he asked me to translate those articles from Japan version! As you know, I'm not able to do it, maybe Taw can help him.

Thank you for answering immediately. However, can Mr. Taw respond such a desperate request, even though he has a babel {{ja-1}}?? T --Hhst 23:09, 15 cze 2006 (CEST)
You wrote here, [z mojej strony "koszmarną łamaną angielszczyzną"] = my "Terribly Broken English" in your discussion page, countless times during 11 months. (I read my Polish-Japanese dictionary.) Actually, my English sentences are so awkward -- :)) Today, I started Charlotte Cooper Sterry. I was a little bit sad this week, because Tiger Woods missed the cut at the US Open Golf for the first time, due to his deep sorrow (his father's death). [About golf, thanks for starting Hisako Higuchi in Polish Version!] I couldn't write tennis articles this week, but I'll try again next week, before Wimbledon. Best regards --Hhst 17:50, 18 cze 2006 (CEST)
Hello. Although for me my English is just good enough to be understand, but as you know, here in Wikipedia all talks are public - so many users can find it really bad, with lot of errors. That's why I always using such words about my English. About golf players - I visited site of World Golf Hall of Fame and was very impressed with high quality. Of course I need to read something about golf before start more articles, but in future, who knows... Unfortunetly, in short time I will not be able to work on real Wikipedia so active, I will be working on DVD version of plWiki. I'll try to adding still new players articles, in short planes now famous Pancho Segura (in fact I added today his conpatriot Miguel Olvera). About Cooper Sterry - I saw you corrected dates of her life. This is real problem. I think most of Wikipedias have version (1871-1967), but both Bud Collins and Martin Hedges (The Concise Dictionary of Tennis) using dates (1870-1966)! Maybe you can discuss this problem with Mr. Rapsodin (special, what is in Gianni Clerici' book). Greetings Berasategui 22:31, 18 cze 2006 (CEST) PS. Don't miss AnneMary notes from today.
I meant, terribly broken English "not yours" but "mine" (Hhst, me). Thanks for information about Cooper Sterry. (She's not a Hall of Fame Enshrinee, I'm surprised.) When English WP make mistakes, they spread to all over the world (They're not aware of it, their serious responsibility / influence). --Hhst 23:09, 18 cze 2006 (CEST)
I ordered Martin Hedges' "The Concise Dictionary of Tennis" today. How many weeks I'll be forced to wait, like Bud Collins -- Unfortunately, I haven't received a mail from Amazon.com yet. I've been very busy in June, Doubles Champion Lists (Men, Women, Mixed) of French, Wimbledon, US Open -- The last one, US Open Mixed Doubles Champions, is my current work. After finishing all lists, I can write players' articles again, including Geoff Ogilvy! I finished correcting all versions of Charlotte Cooper Sterry too. Others simply translated English Version, without checking anything. (About DVD version of Pl.Wiki, all the articles and discussions are saved here, as a necessary backup?) --Hhst 17:19, 22 cze 2006 (CEST)
About DVD version - we have still some problems with our editor, so work is not as good as I expected. Redaction team from PLWiki (ca. 12 persons) making only revision of main articles (checking visual standards, letter errors, grammatic etc.), propably discussions will not be on DVD. We working on version from 4th June. In Polish version many results lists are still missing, I'm afraid. In Martin Hedges book you'll find many interesting articles about early british players. Book has also many good ilustations. I'm working now on article about very interesting polish player, Władysław Skonecki, who played many matches against Jaroslav Drobny (beat him in Monte Carlo final 1953). During communism time he left Poland, played in Europe (disqualified by Polish federation) and was 3rd in european ranking in 1953. In 1955 was in final of German International, but after 1956 he was back in national team. I still need to find one-two articles about him in old newspapers. Greetings Berasategui 18:59, 22 cze 2006 (CEST)
Jaroslav Drobný -- I learned from your articles, especially Drobný, "Heart" is an important factor for making a good item. How can I follow your feelings? I imagine, even your tearful eyes in April 9th 2004 (Drobný's first history) as a neighboring countryman (Czechoslovakia / Poland). "Problematic editors?" Maybe me, myself too, because I'm a poor writer! --Hhst 01:12, 23 cze 2006 (CEST) -- For me, it was Helen Wills Moody, 19 Grand Slam singles titleholder. I've been hungry to learn about "Navratilova's ultimate dream" over 10 years. I gained NY Times from English WP -- [January 18th 2005] was a monumental day for me. (How much you care about me!) --Hhst 12:48, 23 cze 2006 (CEST)
Oh no, I propably used bad word - I mean problems with publishing house, not normal Wikipedia editors. I think Jaroslav Drobny was one of my first long articles, really fascinating player (my first edition at all was short article about Polish olympic medalist in track cycling from 1924). Berasategui 10:57, 23 cze 2006 (CEST)

Hello. It is all right by me, no bad emotion. I resigned from being sysop after one of collegues attacked me on administrator discussion board in vulgar style and I don't want working longer in such companion. Of course I didn't resign from editing. In fact I saw your version of Jadwiga Jędrzejowska in en-Wiki, thank you fot that! This player Fukuda looks like interesting person (propably I find this book here at nr 19), so I waiting for more information from you to wrote about him. My little collection of tennis books also growing, with Lance Tingay "Tennis. A pictorial history", Roy Peters and Caroline Bell "Passing Shots" and "The New York Times Encyclopedia of Sports. Vol. VI Tennis". I bought polish book "The Tennis Alphabet" by Zbigniew Dutkowski, too. Propably in short time I'll be working with articles about such persons like Maurice McLoughlin, Sarah Palfrey and Darlene Hard. Greetings Berasategui 14:12, 12 lip 2006 (CEST) PS. All work with tennis articles, also nice talks with you, keep me here. Propably without that I would leave pl-Wiki long time ago.

Personal attacks, terrible!! I found (at least) two troublesome users in Poland (although a foreign user). About your tennis, International Tennis Hall of Fame Enshrinees, still 31 red links here. Today, I wrote Manuel Santana and May Sutton Bundy. // Personally, I got a request from an experienced sysop, "Be an admin candidate" for the first time. (43 users were nominated, 8 persons actually chosen.) In fact, "sports sysop" has never existed in Japanese WP history. I was an only one nominee as a sports editor, but I had to answer "I'm too delicate". Your sad experiences -- I can't endure, much more. --Hhst 15:00, 12 lip 2006 (CEST)

Once again, thank you for all nice words. My situation in last weeks were not very well, I have technical problems, which keep me out of normal internet connection. So in efect, I wrote series of articles offline and surprisingly, I finish Hall of Fame! Problem is, that break costs much time in DVD working, so now I must real concentrate there. Another poor fact in pl-Wiki, which make me really iritated, is propose to delete article about current deaths. I don't think, that in efect this article will be deleted, but for me - as "father" of article - is not nice to find such voting just after long break.

I notice your talks with Mr. Rapsodin about King Gustav V. He was famous handicap doubles and mixed-doubles player on French Riviera, with good high lobs. His partners include many polish players - not only Jadwiga Jędrzejowska, but also Ignacy Tłoczyński, Józef Hebda, Ernest Wittmann, Czesław Spychała. King was also known for his tennis-political quotes. Very interesting person.

Thank you for your lobbying about both Fibak and Berasategui articles on sv-Wiki! I wait for some infos from you about Masanosuke Fukuda. Greetings Berasategui 18:11, 3 sie 2006 (CEST)

I see the discussion of "Zmarli w roku 2000" (deleted). Zmarli w roku 2006 too?? I introduced your greatness to all sports editors in Japanese WP, along with a golf writer of Sweden, "The first achievement of Complete Coverages -- Golf Major Champions in Sweden // International Tennis Hall of Fame in Poland". Japanese Wikipedians in other fields said, "What's this fairy tale?" // "Was ist das Märchen?" (What about your decision, 1 // 2 ?) --Hhst 12:43, 6 sie 2006 (CEST)
About me, I couldn't gain Bud Collins' "Total Tennis" after all. Amazon.com tried their best for three months, but they couldn't find it from any suppliers // agents. (That made me really irritated.) Perhaps, I'll receive the same mail about Concise Dictionary of Tennis, at the end of September, I'm afraid. --Hhst 22:57, 6 sie 2006 (CEST) -- I visited eBay myself. There, Mega Media Depot has a brand-new storage!! I immediately took eBay account, and ordered it. --Hhst 12:02, 8 sie 2006 (CEST)
In fact, I'm not satisfacted with current version of few articles about Hall of Famers (f.e. Steffi Graf, Maria Bueno or Martina Navratilova), so this is propably not "complete coverage". I started work with articles about former South Africa doubles pair - Abe Segal and George Forbes. Both looks colorful players, and Forbes is also author of good tennis books. In honour of this couple in doubles Masters 1992 in Johannesburg one of round-robin groups was names "Forbes / Segal" (second "McMillan / Hewitt"). Maybe Mr. Rapsodin can remember them, they played in 50. and 60., even with few seasons in "open era". Talking about tennis books, I ordered both Collins and Hedges via ebay (in fact my collegue, who has account at ebay). About desysoping - I resigned at our administrators discussion board and adressed it to polish stewards. Why my apply is not realised, I have no idea. How about your nomination? Berasategui 23:29, 6 sie 2006 (CEST)
Mr. Roo72 was immediately desysopped -- Dat (We Japanese Wikipedians call him "Dat") did it directly, without Meta requests. Like Selena, Roo72 diff -- Your own, clear declaration in English necessary? Or, you've had no problem as an administrator. They don't want to lose you, like me?? Back to tennis, I'm looking forward to full version of Steffi. She has been the "closest" player for me since 1988, her Grand Slam year. I wish I could have seen her two or three years earlier. --Hhst 23:54, 6 sie 2006 (CEST) -- Mr. Odder made the "easiest" resignation on Meta Removal. To add fixed sentence "I confirm... from this account." on the page, and offer "Self-de-adminship" there. --Hhst 12:02, 8 sie 2006 (CEST)

[edytuj] Endless Journey to Total Tennis

Hello. In fact, US Open very nearly, I hope to see some matches of tournament. It's farewell tournament to Steffi Graf husband... If I'm right, is also close to Roger Federer's visit in Japan. In some future (I'm not sure when exactly) I'll work about such articles like Louise Brough (she deserves better article!) Currently my Wikipedia time still is very short, unfortunetly. I hope to find more time early October. How about your books (as in title of section)? Greetings, Berasategui 15:29, 24 sie 2006 (CEST)

I haven't received from an eBay member Mega Media Depot yet. I arranged a credit card for PayPal! Also, I found Lance Tingay's "Tennis: A Pictorial History" too. Maybe both, early September?? Currently, I'm studying Ellsworth Vines. He visited Japan in October 1936 with Bill Tilden. He turned a golfer afterwards, semifinalist of PGA Championship 1951 -- The match-play final, Sam Snead vs. Walter Burkemo. Who beat Vines at the semifinal? I brought this question to Swedish golf writer. --Hhst 15:51, 24 sie 2006 (CEST)
Věra Suková's book "Chcete vyhrát Wimbledon?" -- What's the English translation? --Hhst 15:51, 24 sie 2006 (CEST)
Propably "Do you want to win Wimbledon?". I'm afraid, I have no idea who beat Vines in this golf semifinal. Berasategui 16:21, 24 sie 2006 (CEST)
I made two shortcuts for tennis books on eBay, "Bidding" and "Buy It Now". I'm adding orders, including two encyclopedias -- "The Illustrated Encyclopedia of World Tennis" by John Haylett & Richard Evans (1989) // "Official Encyclopedia of Tennis" by USTA (1971). About John Haylett, I gained a brand-new copy, remained silently on the shop for 17 years: The front cover is "young Steffi Graf"! Much better, the seller sent me a mail "Will post item soon". (Collins' seller Mega Media Depot have got quite a few "negative feedbacks", like "Items not arrived, no response to e-mail".) Bill Tilden's biography is available on "Buy It Now" corners, some stores brand-new. (References) --Hhst 13:16, 1 wrz 2006 (CEST)
Hello. I'm glad that eBay way to tennis books works for you. It is good for whole international Wikipedia tennis team - propably I will ask you about some questions from your new material. I bought last time this german book "500 Jahre Tennis" by G. Clerici (not via eBay, but polish selling portal allegro.pl). I at last finished article about Abe Segal from South Africa. He was colorful player, and I think in Tingay's book you can find story about sleeping umpire during his match. Segal's doubles partner Gordon Forbes is author of tennis memoires, it should be also interesting lecture. About US Open - Agassi career is over, as close are doubles starts of Navratilova. End of quite tennis era. This year we have little polish joy - Łukasz Kubot become first male player to play in Grand Slam since 1995 and first to win Grand Slam match since 1986. Greetings Berasategui 21:47, 3 wrz 2006 (CEST)
Honestly, I'm overwhelmed by plans of 9 Hall of Famers -- Vines, Adrian Quist & John Bromwich, Frank Sedgman & Ken McGregor, Fred Stolle, Alex Olmedo, Pancho, Drobný. See my recent interwiki contributions, adding much more (+sv:) than (+ja:). I fell down, World No. 6 again. Spanish WP writers are chasing me, too. --Hhst 02:10, 4 wrz 2006 (CEST)

Hello. Good news with award to your patience. If in fact "Tennis Total" is new version of "Collin's Tennis Encyclopedia", you received great lecture. Kimiko Date appears already in edition of 1997 (but chapter "They also served" is only number 9!). In future I'll surely ask you for few questions about Wimbledon history. My short plans for future is Zsuzsa Kormoczy, Hungarian champion, winner of Roland Garros, one of best clay court specialists in late 50. She died few days ago. Propably also another hungarians players like Jozsef Asboth or Balazs Taroczy. Then, at last, to longer versions of such players like Graf, Navratilova, Borg, Vilas, Bueno, Brough etc.... Still many work to do! It's nice to find another version of Jadwiga Jędrzejowska article, thank you! I think, Mr. Rapsodin is close to finish Hall of Fame? Greetings Berasategui 13:14, 19 wrz 2006 (CEST)

I noticed Kormoczy's death from your contributions -> Zmarli w roku 2006. I'm at a loss again, because of Japanese katakana (like Jędrzejowska). --Hhst 14:19, 19 wrz 2006 (CEST)

Hello. Thank you for news about Jędrzejowska articles. It is suprising with so many languages, after all even polish version started rather late. With improvement of tennis on French Wikipedia, I hope to find in some future article about Susan Noel, who was Jędrzejowska doubles partner, including in one French Championships final (also good friends, according to memories of Jędrzejowska). Nice to have new tennis writers in whole world! I think about article about Kumiko Okamoto, FedCup Player and tournament winner. Greetings, Berasategui 23:53, 29 wrz 2006 (CEST) PS. I saw your additions in english version about Silas Simmons, baseball player. This is amazing story for me - suddenly sport writers find former player at extremely high age still alive!

Thank you for new plans too! Kumiko Okamoto was an impressive player for us -- At the third round of French Open 1985, 16-year-old Steffi Graf lost temper in front of Okamoto. I bought an autobiography of Emiko Okagawa, too. Also, I found a book by Susan Noel in eBay auction -- I'm planning to win it in October 3rd! --Hhst 01:53, 30 wrz 2006 (CEST) -- Sorry, I had a wrong memory. Steffi lost temper at the 1st round with Emiko Okagawa (7:5 3:6 6:4), not Kumiko Okamoto. Similar names, quite confusing. Kumiko Okamoto played with Chris Evert at the 3rd round of Wimbledon Centre Court in 1987. --Hhst 12:24, 30 wrz 2006 (CEST)

Hello. You become active eBayer now! I hope in future to your article about Susan Noel. If I remember good, Jędrzejowska wrote about her in memoiries, that Noel even married Pole "becouse of sympathy" to her former doubles partner. Now you can check, what Noel wrote about it. I'm not experienced user of internet auctions, but I know, that in polish portal allegro popular is special application, called "sniper". With that program you can send your offer even few seconds before finish. I have no idea, if that sniper is also used at eBay. So, with Bromwich and many more you propably also going to completed International Hall of Fame at Japanese Wikipedia in short future.

About list of tennis players - such lists are in plWiki in real danger, becouse of politic of "lists hate" (very often such articles are proposed for deletion). I hope this time everything will be OK. I think, you are satisfatied with Tokio tournament, with visit and win for Federer and final for Nakamura! Greetings Berasategui 14:21, 10 paź 2006 (CEST) About me at Wikimedia Polska, this is only ceremonial post.

Japanese WP in short future?? No, far from it -- just nearer than your rival French WP (World ranking 2 vs. 3 = Polish vs. French). My current work is Frank Sedgman. He missed only one title, French Championships singles -- Jaroslav Drobný stopped his Boxed Set!! // Personally, I have a trouble about my PayPal account. I received "Notification of Limited Account Access" mail, because my account "was accessed by a third party" -- I have to finish "Fax documentation": I need my resident card to assure my security. (That is, I can't pay for my orders.) Susan Noel's book came to my home today. I succeeded in Gianni Clerici's English book auction. Thank you for caring about me, for 15 months. (About Wikimedia Polska, didn't they praise your achievement?) --Hhst 14:42, 10 paź 2006 (CEST)

Hello. After starting work with article about József Asboth, I find some problems. Maybe you, with your growing tennis library, can help me. According to Collins' Encyclopedia, he was born in September 1917 (the same date at Davis Cup site). Martin Hedges gives him 1927 as date of birth, what is clearly incorrect (first match in national team 1938). More problems is with this entry in some hungarian online lexicon [3]. Here you can find another date of birth and also date of death, missed (?) by Collins. Can you check Asboth entry in your edition of Collins' Encyclopedia in some free time? Greetings, Berasategui 23:14, 23 paź 2006 (CEST) PS. I hope it is everything OK with your PayPal account. How lecture of Noel? Here you can read about this application for internet auctions.

Well, I started to find various confusions, even Nancye Wynne Bolton (I wrote her yesterday). About Susan Noel, it was an analysis book, not her biography -- no statement of Jed, nor her husband. I lost an auction this morning, a memorial book of Iwao Aoki from Japanese Tennis Association (Japanese book) -- but someone took it by eBay "snip" (Perhaps, he can't read Japanese language). Speaking of "sniper", a famous Japanese Wikipedian has this nickname. He's a heavy editor of various sports and television, also a powerful photographer, but makes countless mistakes. His first edit: 2004-1-15 (yours: 2004-2-10) // Age: 31 (yours: 30). His "out-of-focus" photographs are often made fun of -- A Japanese user once said, "Take away his fossil camera". --Hhst 01:55, 24 paź 2006 (CEST)
Thank you for interesting introduction of Japanese Wikipedian. As you know, plWiki has also many interesting people. With few of them you even have contact, like Australia resident Roo72, called some time ago "sheriff" becouse of uncompromised style of adminship. Tulyaganova - quite interesting person, good player from young country, but unfortunately career stopped by injuries. I'm afraid, this note made by Kpjas gives nothing new to article, maybe only parents names and coach. BTW, Kpjas is one of two "fathers of PlWiki". Book about Australian championships should help to complete articles special about early winners. About another early players, I have question to you, of course to some free time. Maybe you can find something more in your books about Wimbledon history about Mabel Parton. This british player was olympic medalist in singles, few times Wimbledon semifinalist, born 1881. I found her in Clerici's book in big picture taken in 1961 at 75th edition of Wimbledon tournament, I think only not-winner in this picture. Greetings Berasategui 23:18, 27 paź 2006 (CEST)
I know Mr. Roo72 well: He reacted my English Edit Summaries (Opis zmian) from Ostatnie zmiany twice. (A, B about Tiger Woods // Draft of Tennis No.1 Templates) I'd like to contact Mr. Szumyk, your closest friend. I wish to "accuse" Mr. WarX of this edition. ??? About Japanese Sniper, his talkpage is the biggest (heaviest) in our Wikipedia, due to relentless criticism of his poor photography. However, he makes archive only once in a year. I've appreciated his editions in golf: I suggested him to "take more time on golf than photographs" several times. --Hhst 00:36, 28 paź 2006 (CEST)
Mabel Patron? Even a player beyond your researching skill?? Like Myrtle McAteer's accurate lifetime (year of birth and death both missing). Much closer (easier?) subjects are still missing in Polish WP. (AnneMary never edits men: She's extremely reluctant to men's champion lists.) Singles champions: Manuel Orantes, Adriano Panatta, Mark Edmondson, Brian Teacher // Notable runner-ups: Kevin Curren, Chris Lewis, Victor Pecci, John Lloyd, Phil Dent // The Blacks, Byron // Nicolás Lapentti, Taylor Dent and more. "Take it easy" -- how can I say it, in front of World No.1 tennis writer? --Hhst 21:00, 29 paź 2006 (CET)

Hello. First, best wishes to your next year in Wikipedia! Thank you for list of players. Of course, we need those articles (and I hope they will in some future). You can even add some more names, like Ayala, Vermaak, Gulyas, Nielsen, Sanchez brothers, Hlasek... I think about some French players, Boetsch, Delaitre, Raoux, Roux, Mathieu. Still no olympia runner-up Fish or bronze medalists in doubles from Atlanta Goellner/Prinosil, and many more good doubles players from past. So all those names, plus your list, plus mentioned earlier players like Asboth, Taroczy or Okagawa and Okamoto, plus full versions of Bueno, Graf, Navratilova etc. - it looks busy year 2007! Of course, I'll try to start work still in 2006. Why Mabel Parton (not Patron) too? Just as I said - it was for me intriging, this old lady in picture, together with series of Wimbledon champs (sometimes only doubles or mixed doubles) - Mudford King, Holcroft Watson, Ryan, Round, Cooper, Boothby, McKane, Tuckey and Mathieu (also present was Duchess of Kent). Only one without title.

Masters Cup with Fyrstenberg/Matkowski it is great news for polish tennis. I like doubles very much, as a fan and as a player. I hope to good tournament in Shanghai, one win in group would be good, semifinal - great result. In fact, one of my favourites players was Paul Haarhuis, but also as singles player. I remember very well his amazing Daviscup play against Spain in 1993 in Barcelona.

Few words about my collegues - Szumyk's specialization is history of polish skauting. He also working with film portal, I think. WarX is physicist, active member of Wikimedia Polska and operator of some bots. This joke about my nick is old story, from time, when I visited IRC canal often. Not everybody must remember (or know), that Berasategui is in fact real name of very good tennis player! Greetings Berasategui 23:10, 4 lis 2006 (CET)

Thank you for long messages recently. In fact, I wrote Japanese Version of Kurt Nielsen. Your plans -- Swedish players: Jarryd, Larsson, Gustafsson // "Morocco Team" appeared in our talks of May or June! About Haarhuis, I remember US Open 1991, third round when he beat No.1 seed Becker. You're an amateur doubles player?? According to Bud Collins' report, as our source of Miyagi and Kamo in US Doubles 1955, "black sheep" appears the second page. The word comes from Mother Goose. --Hhst 04:53, 5 lis 2006 (CET) -- No, they must know your "patron", because you completed International Tennis Hall of Fame as Wikipedia World No.1 tennis writer. This joke should be removed for newcomers of Polish Wikipedia. --Hhst 15:45, 8 lis 2006 (CET)
Baa, Baa, black sheep, have you any wool?
Yes, sir, yes, sir, three bags full.
One for the master and one for the dame,
And one for the little boy who lives down the lane.

Hello. Thank you for nice poem. Of course current "black sheep" position for doubles play is not so nice as Mother Goose's verses - that's sad effect of "open era", which needs singles stars (even if sometimes they were able to be great doubles players too, like McEnroe, Edberg, Kafelnikov etc.) Those days (1955) still doubles with solid position (US Championships as special tournament). Propably becouse of strong team play in Daviscup (remember Mr. Rapsodin words about Lundqvist!), with always important position of doubles point. Another fact - two tennis worlds, amateur and professional, for many spectators profis (Gonzales, Segura, later Hoad, Rosewall, Laver) were real stars. -- I like to play doubles very much, although my style of playing isn't special set for net-game (I'm rather type of player, who run, run, run and try to bring every ball back). But with my regular partner I had some club tournament wins. I started to play in 1993, without any coaching, so now I'm experienced self-made player. During winter I playing almost only doubles. -- Good idea with list of articles to start in Portal! It is still many work to do. Greetings Berasategui 22:38, 13 lis 2006 (CET)

Thank you for actual stories to me! I'm absorbed in reading Lance Tingay's "100 Years of Wimbledon". It includes "Biographical Records" of full Wimbledon champions. Died long time ago, not so significant like Hall of Famers -- for example, I found lifetime of Randolph Lycett (en). The problem is -- People died after 1977? Mabel Parton, she won Wimbledon Mixed Doubles 1911 with T. M. Mavrogordato, period of "Non-Championship Event". Such persons are not included in his Biographical Records. // About AnneMary, she hasn't understood your greatness yet. See her recent message to me -- regrettable! I made a subpage Portal:Tenis ziemny/Międzynarodowa Tenisowa Hall of Fame myself, and ordered her to set it on portal. Best regards --Hhst 00:30, 14 lis 2006 (CET)

Hello. Thank you for introduction of new template about tennis project. I think, that every person who writes something about tennis, become in fact member of this project. AnneMary has in project rebuilding of Steffi article. Thank you also for information about Mabel Parton. I found in some tennis discussion board information, that wife of Mavrogordato, Mabel Squire, was bronze medalist in tennis in Stokholm olympics 1912 - so it should be the same person! Of course that Wimbledon win from "non-championships" time is enough explonation to group picture of former champions. Greetings Berasategui 22:12, 23 lis 2006 (CET)

Stockholm Olympics bronze medalist, Molla Mallory?? I wrote Fred Stolle today. He shouted "Old Hacker" in US Championships 1966 -- 40 years after, the word "hacker" changed its meaning drastically. // I saw AnneMary's colorful table of Steffi. She held her last exhibition matches "Farewell World Tour" in Japan, February 6-8 2000 (Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka). I watched the second match in Nagoya Rainbow Hall in February 7th. I took a picture of her left knee! She fell downstairs somewhere, got injured again. --Hhst 23:12, 23 lis 2006 (CET)
I didn't notice Stockholm Olympics "Indoor Court": Parton took bronze medal, Gold: Edith Hannam (GBR) / Silver: Thora Castenschiold (Denmark). I found her birthdate, July 22nd 1881 DB -- but her death date is missing. --Hhst 06:26, 24 lis 2006 (CET)

Hello. I have no other materials to check date of death of Rafael Osuna. Martin Hedges as always used formula "died in June 1969". Hard to say, who is right, Tingay or Collins. About Daviscup - in March 1979 Poland vs. Finland tie was played in Olsztyn (but on daviscup site place is Warsaw!!), in hall "Urania" (you can see hall at article Aleja Piłsudskiego w Olsztynie). My older collegues from tennis club remember that match very well (they worked as linesmen). In fact, I'm working now with few articles about Olsztyn, special about people from Olsztyn. This is also interesting subject for me. Greetings, Berasategui 17:57, 29 lis 2006 (CET) PS. Great work with "dead links" on plWiki!

AirSafe.com is an organization for researching all kinds of plane crashes: That is, I thought their reports are more accurate. I referred to it, for Payne Stewart's article. (Selected Events -> Celebrities) Thank you for precious memories again. --Hhst 20:16, 29 lis 2006 (CET)
